John Paleci

The On30 bug has bitten John Paleci, owner of  John Paleci Structures.  A long time modeler and fine craftsman, John is building his first On30 Layout in his home.

It all hangs from the wall with no legs or bracing beneath. Eventually it will have the backdrop white hardboard material attached to the framework bottom to present a light smooth surface when John is at the desk or workbench.

The backdrop has been painted blue. A panel fits across the window for the complete experience. The fascia panels will be painted the green wall color with stained wood trim.

“I figured in that size room with On30”, said John, “there is no getting away from the fact it is a train layout for fun. I didn't bother with curved corners and such. A tall trestle will be framed by the window dormer alcove so I curved that area for emphasis.”
